Wandering Rocks Archive

Work in progress

An open archive of rocks collected in different places, growing through contributions from visitors to the installation.

Its participatory dimension grew out of a spontaneous gesture: during the exhibition Nomadic Station (E CA, 2024/2025), three anonymous visitors left their own rocks, adding them to the collection. This gesture will be continued through contributions from visitors to XXIX art públic 2026 at the Natural History Museum of the Universitat de València. In this way, the archive grows with each discovery, bringing together stories of displacement, the stories of wandering rocks.
